Jivesh Parasram is an award winning multidisciplinary artist and facilitator of Indo-Caribbean descent. He is the founding Artistic Producer of Pandemic Theatre, and the Artistic Director of Rumble Theatre. His work has toured Nationally and Internationally. Jiv was a member of the Cultural Leaders Lab with the Banff Centre and Toronto Arts Council. Currently based on the Unceded Coast Salish Territories, his public artistic work started in T’koronto. His current cultural practice centres decolonization through aesthetics and dharmic approaches to dramaturgy. Jiv was raised in Mi’kmaki; and his family came to Canada by way of Cairi (Trinidad & Tobago).
